A Message of Hope

The Bible says " These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life." 1 John 5:13 KJV

Do you know that you have eternal life?  God wants us to know, but we must come God's way.

  • Know all have sinned.  " For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23 KJV)  This includes you and me.

  • Know sin separates.  "For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23a KJV)  "And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:15 KJV)

  • Know God provided a sacrifice for sin.  "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16 KJV)  "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8 KJV)

  • Know this sacrifice provides salvation. "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. " (Romans 6:23b KJV)

  • Know you must receive Christ.  "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13 KJV)  " That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9 KJV)
